Mrs Baché was one of the first to regard the skin as a living, evolving organ, whose mechanisms must be understood before they can be corrected.
As early as 1936, she placed science at the heart of beauty and drew inspiration from medical advances to develop her dermo-aesthetic innovations. When her salon opened on Rue de la Paix, medical supervision was provided by a specialist doctor who established the medical beauty consultation service to guide clients. Later, she joined her brother, a doctor, in New York and drew on medical publications to develop cutting-edge innovations.
True to this pioneering heritage, the Scientific Board was created to perpetuate this approach of advanced innovation in the field of dermo-aesthetics.

This multidisciplinary approach enhances the brand’s capacity for innovation and ensures effective, scientifically validated results.

The Scientific Committee’s approach is to continue drawing inspiration from the latest medical advances, particularly in anti-ageing and aesthetic medicine – such as micro-fillers and chemical peels, for example – in order to incorporate these mechanisms of action into the heart of our cosmeceutical formulas using rigorously selected natural active ingredients. We therefore develop each range and protocol with the aim of addressing a specific beauty concern.
